A corporate client recently asked me about whether Canada had any regulations restricting his ability to fly to Canada in his corporate aircraft, pick up a passenger and then fly on to another city in Canada. The question raises the issue of “cabotage”, which is the flying of passengers and goods within the same foreign country.
