Shackelford, McKinley & Norton partners and renowned Dallas attorneys David Elrod and Talmage Boston are among the 2026 inductees into the Lawdragon Hall of Fame.
One of the most respected Texas-based litigators, Mr. Elrod has successfully prosecuted and defended complex cases for a broad range of clients nationwide, securing hundreds of millions of dollars for his plaintiff clients through verdicts and settlements while also protecting his defense clients from substantial economic exposure. A 2024 recipient of the Texas Legal Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award, he has previously earned Lawdragon Leading Litigators honors, as well as recognition for his work in the energy sector.
Mr. Boston has represented clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitrations for more than 40 years. A frequent speaker and interviewer, he is also the author of five books and is a contributing columnist for the Dallas Morning News. Board Certified in both Civil Trial and Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he has been recognized among Lawdragon’s Leading Lawyers and as one of the top litigators in Texas by the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Bar Foundation.
