Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton partners David Elrod and Bruce Wilkin have been named to the 2024 Lawdragon Green 500: The Leaders in Environmental Law.
It is the second consecutive year they have been chosen for this elite recognition.
Mr. Elrod was selected based on his work addressing environmental contamination litigation. The respected trial attorney successfully served as lead counsel in asignificant environmental contamination class action in East Texas, as well as natural gas contamination, renewables and wind farms, water pipes and a West Texas case involving an uncontrolled planned burn that damaged the pristine grazing land of a neighboring ranch.
Mr. Wilkin was recognized for his environmental litigation and appellate work, including successfully defending an oilfield pipeline manufacturer in a contamination suit before the Texas Supreme Court, serving as lead trial counsel for a client facing environmental, RICO and Section 1981 claims and representing an emergency services contractor against a landowner’s Superfund cost recovery action.
