Nathan’s legal practice focuses on assisting companies and individuals in a myriad of different complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. Specifically, he represents investors and land developers in litigation involving real estate, title issues and disputes with government entities. His practice often requires him to navigate clients through general litigation matters that intersect with probate courts and estate planning issues. He has also represented clients in disputes involving breaches of contract, negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability and premises liability.
Prior to beginning his litigation practice, Nathan worked for a Houston-based accounting firm before attending law school. As an attorney, Nathan served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Tennessee (Memphis), where he litigated criminal cases in federal court on behalf of the U.S. Government. He also served as Assistant District Attorney in the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office (Memphis). Nathan’s unique background as a state and federal prosecutor has given him considerable negotiation and advocacy experience.
