Matthew L. Motes
For over 25 years, Matt has represented home builders, general contractors, subcontractors, owners and developers, and design professionals in contract, construction defect, and commercial litigation matters. Matt provides turn-key legal services from risk management to contract preparation to the last resort of mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Matt periodically gives speeches and writes articles on risk management, contracts, arbitration, and other related construction topics.
Matt assists clients with contract review and negotiations, mechanic’s lien claims, insurance coverage, OSHA or other government actions, early resolution through utilization of the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act. He serves as general counsel for a local home builders’ association. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Western Fort Worth Rotary Club.
