About K. Elizabeth Swan
Elizabeth Swan is an appellate litigator who works closely with her clients to develop practical, persuasive legal strategies in line with each individual client’s needs and priorities. Her broad range of appellate experience includes cases in the fields of banking, real estate, automobiles, construction, arbitration, and family law. She has handled appeals and mandamus proceedings across Texas, including in the newly created 15th Court of Appeals.
Elizabeth is board certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Elizabeth is also an experienced family law attorney. She routinely represents clients in matters of divorce, division of property, child custody, child support, and family law appeals. Her practice extends throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including the counties of Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, Denton and Rockwall.

- Morrison v. Quarrington, No. 12-22-00302-CV, 2024 WL 2858838 (Tex. App.—Tyler May 15, 2024) (granting rehearing and affirming the trial court’s take-nothing judgment against all clients)
- In re Precision Concrete & Excavation, LLC, No. 02-23-00431-CV, 2023 WL 8434716 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth December 5, 2023) (granting mandamus relief to vacate an order for expedited discovery prior to resolving a motion to compel arbitration)
