Lynnsee Starr focuses her practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, representing developers, property owners, investors, and businesses in a wide array of sophisticated transactions. Recognized for her strategic insight and responsiveness, Lynnsee provides comprehensive counsel on matters involving industrial, multi-family, self-storage, office, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality properties. She regularly guides clients through each phase of the acquisition, disposition, financing, and entitlement process.
Lynnsee also maintains a robust leasing practice, representing both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial lease agreements. Her experience spans retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use developments, giving her a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges inherent in leasing relationships.
Striving to be a “deal maker” and not a “deal killer,” Lynnsee approaches every matter with a solutions-oriented mindset, working to overcome obstacles and close transactions while protecting her clients’ interests. Deeply invested in her clients’ success, she builds lasting relationships by aligning her legal strategies with their business objectives.
Throughout his career, Tom has been active in bar association, educational and government relations programs. He is the former chair of the Wetlands and Endangered Species Committee of the ABA Real Property Section and the former chair of the Endangered Species Committee of the ABA Section on Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law. Tom is also active in his community. At various times, he has served as a member of the Manvel, Texas Code Enforcement Commission, the Manvel, Texas Economic Development Board, the Board of Directors of Houston Interfaith Ministries, the Advisory Board of KPFT Radio, and the City of Bellaire, Texas, Zoning and Planning Commission.
