Leah specializes in real estate law with a focus on affordable housing transactions, including LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, HOME, and FHA transactions. She works with developers, non-profits, and housing agencies to negotiate and draft purchase agreements and ancillary documents, representing clients in leasing, sales, acquisitions, and development matters. Her practice also includes corporate law, providing services related to entity formation, business organization, contract review, among other matters.
Leah was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Leah earned her law degree from UNT Dallas College of Law, where she was recognized for her academic achievements, including making the Dean’s List multiple times and earning the CALI Award in a couple of courses. She also holds a Mediation Certificate and is a member of Phi Delta Phi International Honor’s Society. Leah’s early experience in corporate bankruptcy gives her a unique perspective in handling complex real estate transactions.
In her free time, Leah enjoys working out, spending time with her family, playing volleyball, and exploring new restaurants.
