Helene Miranda is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in the Houston office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation representing property and casualty insurance carriers in matters involving first and third-party defense and coverage analysis.
Helene graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2024, where she was a Note and Comments Editor for the Houston Law Review, a member of the Student Bar Association, and a Legal Writing Fellow. Before joining Shackelford, Helene interned for Judge Jaclanel McFarland, where she assisted in preparing opinions and orders. During her final year of law school, Helene worked as a summer associate at the firm and a part-time law clerk during the school year.
Prior to law school, Helene received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at the University of Arkansas in 2020 and briefly worked as a commercial litigation paralegal.
