Bobby Voigt is a registered patent attorney whose practice is principally focused upon the acquisition, licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights, including domestic and foreign patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He has a comprehensive patent practice and regularly counsels clients in strategically developing their intellectual property portfolios.
Bobby prepares and prosecutes patent applications for a variety of clients including, large and small companies, universities and individuals. Technological areas include, but not limited to, computers, circuits, software, nanotechnology, wireless communications, alternative energy, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, nano-imprint lithography, semiconductor, lasers, electro-chemical, oil and gas exploration, e-commerce, authentication technologies, encryption, mobile payment applications, memory virtualization, cloud computing, image and video processing, application coding, cryptography, social network services, social media communications, and business methods. In addition, he has extensive familiarity with appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Bobby’s experience further extends to technology transfer transactions, such as preparing agreements in areas, including, but not limited to, software development, software and patent licenses, maintenance, escrow, non-competition, confidentiality, purchase, assignments, consulting, website development, and manufacturing. He also has experience with trademark preparation and prosecution as well as supporting patent litigation by analyzing claims and guiding invalidity and non-infringement positions.
