Competitive and zealous, Saad A. Aziz is a commercial litigator.
Saad is a native Texan, having been born and raised in the Houston area. He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where he earned Dean’s List honors. Before law school, Saad graduated from the University of Houston cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management, with a focus on the energy industry. While in law school, he served as a Footnotes Editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal. Saad also interned at the Harris County District Clerk’s Office, where he learned firsthand about civil litigation, but from the other side of the bar. Since joining Shackelford, Saad has successfully handled a variety of complex litigation matters, including “bet the company” disputes involving allegations of breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence. Outside of the office, Saad enjoys fitness, traveling, and keeping up with his favorite sports team, the Houston Rockets. He fluently speaks Urdu and Hindi.
