James LeBrun’s practice encompasses a wide variety of aviation transactional, regulatory, and tax issues, including, for example, the purchase, sale, lease, and financing of aircraft, as well as handling aviation related civil litigation and administrative agency enforcement matters.
Before going to law school and joining the Firm, James enjoyed an aviation career that spanned more than twenty-years. He served honorably with the United States Marine Corps, attached to VMFA-312 as an aircraft mechanic. James is an airline transport pilot (multi-engine land) with type ratings on the Learjet, Falcon 20, G-1159, and Hawker 4000, as well as a commercial pilot (single engine land). He also maintains his certification as a flight instructor, instrument, and multi-engine. In addition, James is an FAA certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic (A&P).
