While representing his clients in a wide-range of litigation issues, including contracts, construction, real estate, employment, banking, premises liability and collections, Brandon’s goal is to successfully achieve results in the most cost-effective, but aggressive manner possible. Brandon has been involved in successful litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the State of Texas, and has also successfully argued and briefed cases before the appellate courts in the State of Texas.
Recognized as a “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers in 2010, an honor bestowed on only two-percent of Texas attorneys, Brandon Starling is an experienced litigator with a diverse litigation practice involving complex civil and business litigation disputes. While representing his clients in a wide-range of litigation issues, including residential and commercial construction, automobile dealer defense, contracts, real estate, employment, banking, premises liability and collections, Brandon’s goal is to successfully achieve results in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Brandon’s practice is more specifically focused on the defense of home builders, general contractors and subcontractors in various construction defect, contract, and mechanic’s lien claims, including claims asserted under the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act (RCLA). A large part of Brandon’s practice is also devoted to representing automobile dealers throughout Texas, in both litigation, transactional and administrative law matters, including consumer litigation and complaints, protests before the Motor Vehicle Board regarding terminations, add-points and relocations, assisting with obtaining MVD and OCCC licenses, representing dealers in enforcement matters before the MVD and OCCC, assisting dealers in their dealer/factory relations, employment agreements and litigation, and in general, all day-to-day operations of the dealership. A large part of Brandon’s practice is also devoted to representing various financial institutions in collection matters throughout Texas, including both state and national banks.
Brandon is a member of the Austin Bar, Dallas Bar, National Association of Dealer’s Counsel (NADC), Christian Legal Society and is Chair of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of Austin. He got his law degree at SMU, and undergraduate degree from Baylor.
