Aubrey focuses her practice on representing real estate developers, including non-profit, for-profit and governmental entities, in all types of market rate and affordable housing transactions, including LIHTC’s, tax-exempt bonds, HOME and FHA transactions.
In addition to affordable housing transactions, Aubrey’s practice involves representing a broad range of clients engaged in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and the development of retail, office, industrial, mixed-use, and multi-family projects. Aubrey has experience in the formation of private equity funds, co-investment funds, real estate funds, and fund of funds, and investments of private capital into such vehicles. Aubrey’s practice also includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, and forming, and documenting limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures, and other business entities. Additionally, Aubrey reviews and advises clients on title and survey issues, purchase options, leases, easements, access agreements, subordination agreements, and consents, both in real estate and renewable energy transactions.
